This kitchen has been designed with the latest state-of-the-art equipment in order for the students to gain the necessary experience in an authentic learning environment required for Chinese, Japanese and South East Asian cuisine in this industry.

Designated as the training restaurant for the Technical Diploma programme, students are trained in classic French cooking techniques and restaurant service.

La Gloire (Chez West Kitchen)

La Gloire means ‘Glory’ in French. Designed by our French partner, Institut Paul Bocuse (IPB), this state-of-the-art kitchen is used for our Diploma students, so that they are able to gain the required experience before going into the industry.

Our flagship restaurant where students hone their service and bartending skills. Join us for a Soup and Salad Bar at Lunch and Carving and Flambe dishes at dinner.

Patisserie (Pastry & Baking Training Kitchen)
 
In this training kitchen, we are able to house up to 20 students in each training session. To offer our students with the best possible training, each student is assigned with their individual work station complete with tools needed for their practical lesson. This kitchen is also equipped with top-of- the-line equipment which includes combi-oven, blast freezer and heavy duty mixers.

Fraise (Pastry & Baking Lecture Room)
 
Our Pastry & Baking Lecture Room was designed in such a way that it encourage students participate during theory and demonstration sessions. The highlight of the facility is the projector screen which enables the students to view the pastry-making demo from the comfort of their seat.

La Vie (Western Training Kitchen)
 
La Vie which means ‘Life’ in French, is a mirror image of the La Gloire kitchen. This is where our students taking the Nitec programme are trained using the same state-of-the-art facilities to gain experience in the industry.

Cinnamon & Sage (Western Demonstration Kitchens)
 
Named after herbs and spices, these two demonstration kitchens were set up in a way that students are able to view cooking demonstrations in a conducive learning environment. Each of these is equipped with projectors and cameras so that students are able to get a good view from every angle no matter where they are sitting.
